Don’t miss out on 3000 Service Leavers, we need partners now!
Due to the pandemic, there has been a reduced number of people leaving the Armed Forces for the last two years, but the next 2-3 years will see a significant increase in leavers.
Having received 1200 applications last year, we have already received over 700 applications in the first quarter, it is safe to say we anticipate over 2000 applications per year this year and next.
15% of all Service Leavers are applying to attend the Building Heroes programmes and that level is set to increase. We currently only have 800 places available each year on our courses around the UK.
We deliver Level 1 and 2 Training in Multi Trades, Groundworks and Civils (Roads), Welding and Fabrication and Plant Machinery Operations.
We need to add 6 – 10 new on-site centres over the next year, that would create as many as 1500 new places giving us a 2-year capability of over 3,000 learners.
We need multiple industry partners willing to host our ground-breaking innovative on-site training academies. Each academy can deliver between100 and 200 learners ready to take the leap into the construction industry.
We would hope that as many as 500 places each year could deliver part-qualified electricians to deliver into the Green Agenda. We have significant interest from the Armed Forces, can we generate enough interest from the construction Industry.
Veterans bring skills, qualifications, work ethic, flexibility and respect, all contributing to an all-around great employee.
This isn’t just about Trade and Craft jobs, recent graduates have gone directly into positions including Health & Safety Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, Production Manager.
And as an added bonus employers can benefit from a one-year Employers NationalInsurance holiday when hiring a Service Leaver or Veteran into their first job, a saving of 13.8% of Salary.
