Kiran Sumra's Journey With Building Heroes

Find out more about Kiran Sumra's experience with Building Heroes

Kiran Sumra joined the Wembley Building Heroes Academy to hone his skills to renovate his house while laying the groundwork to venture into self-employment in the near future. He learned about Building Heroes in Brent Magazine, issued by Brent Council, and decided to reach out and learn more.

Kiran said, "This programme has been a game-changer, equipping me with invaluable skills and qualifications for real-life application. The insights into the construction industry have been eye-opening, and now I'm well-prepared to tackle whatever challenges come my way when I am ready to embark on my career."

Kiran is 26 years old and was recently unemployed. Right now Kiran isn't actively job hunting as he want to complete some home renovations and take time to secure the right next role, he did emphasise how Building Heroes opened doors to numerous opportunities and equipped him with the very skills employers crave in the construction industry.

We asked Kiran, 'having completed the Building Heroes programme, what would you say you have enjoyed most about the programme?' to which he commented, "Everything! From the skills I have gained, to meeting great people. It's been a fantastic experience."

We wish Kiran all the best in his endeavours. If you want to join a course, apply today.
