A week in the life of a Building Heroes Streetworks Programme

Week three - also known as excavation week!

In week three the group learns how to put the previous weeks activities and tasks into practice. They learn how to locate the underground services and then excavate around them safely in a controlled environment.

We provider the learners with the tools and guidance they need to make the job simple and productive.

Towards the end of week three, the learners gain insight into filling holes, by measuring, and measuring again... and again. This ensure they are being accurate throughout the entire process.

At the end of the week, we finish off with completing paperwork, ready for week four. For some learners, they are fully ready to embrace the weekend!
