At Building Heroes, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the CT1 team, who have been delivering engaging and interactive product demonstration workshops across our academies nationwide.
From our Salisbury cohort in the South to our workshops at Reaseheath in the North West, the CT1 team have been meeting our learners face to face, sharing their expertise, and bringing practical learning to life. These sessions have become a real highlight of our programmes, consistently leaving learners informed, motivated, and smiling.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to John Hayden, Martin Mallon, Scott Storey, Dale Delaney, and Matt Frost, whose time, enthusiasm, and commitment have been instrumental in making these sessions so impactful.
Bringing Learning to Life
CT1’s demonstrations are always exceptionally well received. Their approach strikes the perfect balance between being informative, accessible, and engaging, ensuring that learners at all stages of their journey can benefit.
Through hands on demonstrations, learners gain a clear understanding of:
- Which products are best suited for specific tasks
- How to apply them correctly and confidently
- Why quality and durability matter in finishing and snagging work
- How using the right product first time can save both time and money
These sessions are particularly valuable for those moving into property maintenance, self employment, or site based roles, where knowing which materials to trust is essential to delivering high quality work.
The complimentary product gift boxes are always a welcome bonus too, giving learners the chance to try out the range for themselves and build confidence using professional grade materials.
Supporting Resettlement and Redeployment
As a charity supporting members of the Armed Forces community into civilian careers, partnerships like this are vital. CT1’s commitment to visiting multiple academies and engaging directly with learners plays a key role in helping our service leavers and veterans reskill, rebuild confidence, and prepare for life in the construction and property maintenance sectors.
These workshops go far beyond product promotion. They help learners understand industry standards, develop professional judgement, and feel equipped to take on real world projects whether in employment, self employment, or on their own homes.
